Hyundai Coupe gets ready to muscle in
The i30 estate shows Hyundai’s practical side – but the firm is also working on a new performance car. Following on from our spy shots in Issue 973, we have uncovered this illustration of the replacement for the current Coupe.
The new version is more muscular, with a chunky appearance similar to Nissan’s 350Z. Big headlights and sculpted flanks complete the look. Dubbed ‘Mustang’ by insiders, it apes the US legend with a new rear-wheel-drive layout. Sales should start in 2009.
